Associates in Dermatology wants to keep you and your family safe and want you to be familiar with the current recommendations for COVID- 19. Our offices are open and still here for your dermatologic needs with a few changes.
IF YOU ARE ILL WITH SYMPTOMS OF FLU, PLEASE DO NOT COME INTO THE OFFICE WHERE YOU MIGHT SPREAD INFECTION.
Please call your primary care provider first and speak with clinical staff to determine if you need an appointment or homecare advice. We do not conduct testing in our clinics for COVID-19. We ask that you reschedule your appointment if you have a fever, cough or flu like symptoms. Additionally, if you have traveled on an airplane or cruise ship or have been out of the country in the last two weeks or have been in contact or have been tested for COVID 19 we would ask that you contact our office to reschedule. If the matter is urgent you may request to leave a message and we will notify your provider’s team to contact you.
What to expect upon arrival of your appointment?
Prior to entering the building, you will be asked a series of screening questions
Your temperature will be taken at the time of entry to the buildings
If your screen is negative, you will be allowed to enter the building and proceed to the check-in desk
Be advised we are asking non-essential guests, who accompany patients, to wait in their car to limit the number of patients in our waiting areas.
The best way to fight the COVID-19 is to wash your hands.
